Terri Nida has lived in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, and the surrounding area most of her life. She has a background in business but recently rediscovered a passion for writing. In August 2013, she fainted in her kitchen and became paralyzed from the shoulders down. Although this may seem tragic, she doesn’t always think so. It gives her ample time to focus on the finer things: writing, reading, and other cherished pastimes. Terri Nida is currently working on her memoirs, and is now reading Bird by Bird by Anne Lamott, Drinking: A Love Story by Caroline Knapp, and The Art of Memoir by Mary Karr, all to strengthen her writing. Terri’s blog can be found here.
